Software Security
Transactions performed through TelePay are encrypted using 128 Bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) which prevents the transaction being interfered with in transit.
The TelePay service can be customized to include such features as a customer number, duplicate payment warnings
How Does TelePay Work?
- The Cardholder calls the TelePay service from their phone. The cardholder is asked to enter a customer number or invoice number so that the payment details can be collated.
- The TelePay system then speaks the total amount due – the cardholder has an option of paying some or all the outstanding amount.
- The Cardholder is then asked to enter their card details to make payment. Card details include the expiry date & CVV number.
- The card details are then encrypted and passed to the CAS Payment Gateway for processing. After the transaction has been authorised, the TelePay system will send the merchant a remittance file detailing the payment with invoice and customer number.
Notification
After every submitted transaction, the TelePay service will send back to the merchant a receipt and response as to whether the payment has been successful or unsuccessful. The TelePay service also supports SMS receipts and Open Data Base Connectivity (ODBC). |
