With its small footprint the K21 PIN Pad is ideal for use in branch environments such as financial institutions, insurance providers and government departments. Applications for the K21 include customer identification, security access control, customer enquiries, customer select PIN and stored value card reloading.

API software

The K21 PIN Pad is supplied with Application Program Interface (API) software which allows the customer’s application software to communicate easily with the PIN Pad and facilitates application development.

Total security

The K21 PIN Pad features both physical and logical security, ensuring that the terminal is suitable for PIN based functions. The security features include three way privacy shrouding, secure key scan, blind rivets in the specially designed plastic casing, tamper switches and software security algorithms such as DES and RSA.

Simple, clear display

The LCD display provides an intuitive interface with clear instructions making the terminal very easy to use for both the teller and the customer. Optionally, the display supports graphics which can enable the development of a multiple language display if necessary. The K21 PIN Pad provides a secure, multifunctional solution for use in the branch environment. The terminal is a quick and reliable means of capturing customers’ details for processing. The integrated card reader also provides customers with the security of swiping their own cards. The integrated smartcard terminal allows the PIN Pad to be used to reload value onto stored value smartcards and to support smartcard based access-control applications.
