The ECom Gateway credit card payment solution from Card Access Services provides a simple way to e-commerce enable your web site or call centre.

The ECom Gateway enables merchants to send financial transactions securely via the Internet, to Card Access Services’ credit card payment gateway. It is primarily designed for use by more complex business applications, and the developer installs the ECom Server software on their server. The merchant’s business application hosted on that server accesses it to send financial transactions.

How it Works

Financial data is sent in a secure form from the Merchant’s business application to the ECom Gateway. The ECom Gateway protects the data using the same encryption technology used in all SET (Secure Electronic Transaction) compliant software.

All information is encrypted and sent via the Internet to the Card Access Services Payment Gateway; the transaction is processed and a response is returned to the Merchant’s business application via ECom Gateway.

Visa & MasterCard Security

ECom Gateway supports Verified by Visa and MasterCard Secure Code to offer Merchants more security when accepting online Transactions.

Reporting

ECom Gateway offers a comprehensive reporting suite allowing merchants to review their transactions, together with accepted audit numbers or reasons for declined transactions.

Totally Secure

As transaction data is carried over the Internet, encryption is used wherever it is possible that messages may be intercepted in transit. This ensures that the data cannot be retrieved from the message without the appropriate key.

The ECom Solution uses a strong, hybrid encryption system, combining both secret-key and public-key encryption, similar to that used in all SET software.

Office Integration

The ECom Gateway supports ODBC connectivity enabling database updates for approved payments.
