Productivity

Predictability in budgeting

CAS will provide a fixed price quotation for each stage of a project, and complete the agreed work within the price quoted. For small projects, a quotation for each stage can be provided prior to the beginning of the project. However, larger projects will require a design and scope phase to be completed prior to a ‘Fixed Price’ quotation for the development being submitted.

New functionality

The extra facilities offered by CAS don’t require much of a learning curve. The user guides provided with the products have proven to be more than sufficient to guide the users through the features and functionality of all systems once they have been implemented. The CAS methodology is outlined below:

Business Analysis

CAS’s consultants are specialists in the analysis of systems and business processes, and are experts in the use of a range of tools that quickly and efficiently determine the cause of any problem. CAS includes the staff in the analysis of business and systems requirements, to ensure a level of ownership of both the problem and solution.

Design and Scope of Work

Detailed written reports are provided with proposed solutions upon completion of each analysis assignment, together with a Conceptual Design and/or Scope of Works. These documents are provided to the customer for review and authorisation prior to the final quotation being submitted. Once the quote is submitted and accepted, the development process begins.

Development and Test

CAS employs a team of highly qualified engineers that will develop the system as per the agreed specifications. When the engineers are satisfied that the system is ready, the customer is asked to come to our offices to perform a ‘Factory Acceptance Test’. Once the systems have been satisfactorily tested, arrangements will then be made to begin the installation process.

Installation and Live Testing

CAS will agree on a time that best suits our customer’s schedule for installation, which is often outside of business hours so that business is not disrupted. The systems will be tested after the installation has been completed, and the customer determines whether or not they are happy to cut-over to a live environment. Once the cut-over has been agreed, CAS staff will be on standby to ensure timely support should there be any issues that need to be addressed.
